Montserrat National Youth Parliament Completes Nomination Process Ahead of Historic Elections
The Legislature Department is pleased to announce the successful completion of its nomination for the new Montserrat National Youth Parliament, marking a major milestone in the establishment of a dynamic, youth-led platform for advocacy and leadership.
The nomination exercise, held on Saturday 11th April 2026, saw youths being put forward for both the Executive Committee and the National Youth Parliament. The level of participation and enthusiasm demonstrated, reflects the growing interest among young people in shaping the future of Montserrat.
With nominations now complete, elections will take place on Saturday 1st May, 2026, using a secure voting system to ensure transparency, accessibility, and fairness.
The Nominated Candidates who will contest the elections as Youth MPs are:
